1950's Detached House, Buriton

An interesting property which represents what can be done with a bit of creativity and compromise. Not all properties are straight forward in approach, especially when it comes to providing heat pump solutions. This property has a combination of an air source heat pump and gas central heating. The homeowner however after living with the combination of both fuel systems is planning to remove the gas system as the heat pump is more than capable of providing heat for all but a handful of the coldest days and on occasions when that does happen, a secondary heating system such as wood log stove could be used.
